Today, Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute is the foremost center in health care in South India providing latest treatments even for diseases, which are nearly incurable at other hospitals. 

In the hope of getting fit and fine many patients from around the country walks through the gate daily. The campus of medical college remains lush green throughout the year and it has about 175 acres of land. Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute has eight-floor building with a total capacity of 600 patients at a time. It has great facility for treatment of various kind of disease with some great doctors of the country. 

Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute is a non-profitable and self-financing institution. It also has deemed university status with an only motive to serve society. Multiple medical statutory bodies and councils have recognized the college. Sri Ramachandra Medical College is at the 19th position among many top medical colleges of the country. The college emphasized majorly on research, medical education and health care. 

In the year 1997, Sri Ramachandra Medical College entered into a historical alliance with Harvard Medical International. Boston, USA. To show the importance of this particular alliance the library of the college was named as Sri Ramachandra Harvard Learning Centre. The library of the college has huge space filled with high amount of books and has become the backbone of the college. 

As other eminent medical colleges, it also provides UG, PG and Diploma programs.
