Nitte University MBBS Entrance Exam
The Nitte University was recognized like amongst the best educational institutions of Karnataka having students from across India and abroad. The trust has its office at Medical Sciences Complex, in Deralakatte, at Mangalore with two campuses at Bangalore and Nitte. Eligibility for MBBS Course
The applicant needs to pass in the 12th standard or corresponding examination accepted by Medical Council of India having PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) as elective subjects with English as amongst languages of study, having minimum 50% in total of the optional subjects. The candidate must have finished 17 years on the given date on the University website.
Admissions under the General Merit Category
The admission procedure under General merit category is through process of the centralized single-window counseling by reason of the merit (rank) attained in All-India Entrance Test or NU UGET, organized by the Nitte University. As per the rules of the constitutional bodies, the bare minimum percentage of marks for the Entrance Test selected eligible for the admission for the MBBS course may be 50% for the General Category candidates.
Seats & Duration
The number of seats available is 100. The duration of the course is 5 ½ yrs together with one year of obligatory rotatory internship.
Commencement of the Course
The MBBS course started according to date prescribed by Nitte University, most probably during first week in August though, the precise date will be conversed by Institution.
