B.J. Medical College, Pune MBBS Admission
B.J. Medical College means ‘Byramjee Jejabhoy Medical College’. This college was originally BJ Medical School whilst it was began in year 1878, and now it is completely a college after the year 1946. This college was amongst top ten medical colleges of India in year 2009. Government of Maharashtra controls this college.
Campus
The Infrastructure of the B.J. Medical College, Pune is enormous. The central building of this college has nearly everything, which is required to facilitate and conduct a quiet study. There are libraries that provide to books as well as other magazines and journals and required by students. There are over 10000 volumes of books available in the library. There are rooms where students can play or relax. There is a table tennis room, carom room, and cafeteria where students can play or enjoy. In addition, there is gymnasium also in the college.
Courses Offered
The B.J. Medical College, Pune provides two courses to the students. It provides Bachelor of Medicine as well as Bachelor of Surgery recognized as MBBS. The duration of MBBS course is 5 ½ years including the internship. The other course, which the institute provides is Doctor of Medicine, recognized as M.D.
Admission Procedure
The admission for the B.J. Medical College, Pune in MBBS course is based on the merit obtained in MHT – CET Entrance exam. There is reservation as said by norms and rules of Indian Government.
