Armed force medical college is administered by Indian armed forces. They provide training to medical undergraduate dental post graduate, post graduate, nursing cadets. Eligibility for Academic Qualifications:

Candidateshould passed his examination at first attempt and qualifying examinations as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 60 aggregate marks in  three science subject.

Eligibility for Entrance examination:

Candidate should be citizen of India, the student from foreign country is also eligible but they required living permanently in India. Student must be unmarried. Medically fit as per standardsby the government of India.

Selection procedure:

The student should give competitive written examination in physics, English, Logicand Reasoning, intelligence, biology and chemistry. The exam is conducted in firstSunday of Maymonth and the exam is held in following center of India pune, vasco da Gama, tezpur, Thiruvananthapuram, Agra, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Ahmednagar, Belgaum, Ambala, Chandigarh, Danapur, Delhi, Devlali, Coimbatore, Chilka, Gaya, Golconda, Guwahati, Jabalpur, Jhansi, Jalandhar, Pathankot, Nasirabad, Mumbai, Port Blair, Ranchi, Ramgarh, Secunderabad, Vadodara, Varanasi, Udhampur, Cochin, Dehradun, Visakhapatnam,Chilka. After examination selected candidate are called for personal interview and personal interview is held in June at AFMC, pune. Ten seats are reserved for ST and SC candidates.
